I took this quiz, & here are the results: [1]
Which country should you REALLY be living in?
G'day Mate! You're a yokker. A true Aussie. You love the beach and barbies, as well as sport and sex. Life couldn't get any simpler, and thats the way it should be. C'mon Aussie, C'mon!
In case you're interested in also ending up Aussie, when answering the quiz focus on beaches & alcohol. Part of me would've preferred Spain--because at least it's somewhat fucking close to something other than New Zealand--but I can happily live with & in Australia. [2]
[1] Yeah, so--I can't actually paste the results in to Comet, so instead I just copied the text & uploaded the Australia image. Not ideal, but it worked.
[2] Though I am a bit concerned about all of the deadly things
in Australia.
I took the quiz and ended up being recommended to live in the UK. Probably because I said I wanted to live in a city, not on the beach (the beach is nice but it doesn't have a professional baseball team or music venues.) Given a choice, though, I'd much rather live in Australia than in Great Britain. In fact, Australia is the only foreign place I've ever visited that I could actually see living in, despite its lack of baseball.

I actually also said I'd prefer to live in a city, but there were indeed a couple of questions where I preferred a beach (to "escape to", iirc).

Hmmm... I think this may be the first LJ-style meme I've seen on Comet.

I took this quiz and got Great Britan too. Which is such a load of lies. I said that food was important to me. :P

Hey Ben,
Your welcome down here anytime, mate!
We aussies aren't so bad and either are the New Zealanders when you get use to them. I feel sorry for the Canadians! Image living near the USA? ;-) (just kidding).

A comment from a random Aussie (I got here via the 'australia' tag ;)):
I have no idea what a "yokker" is, but it sounds ... actually, I don't know what it sounds like. Maybe they're mixing up 'yobbo' and 'ocker'.
Yokker. It sounds charming, whatever it is. :)
