Research conducted by Dr. Gwen Robbins, an assistant professor of biological anthropology at Appalachian State University, finds there is no evidence of cannibalism among the 84 members of the Donner Party who were trapped by a snowstorm in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the mid-1840s.
They did, however, eat their dog.

Chimpanzees are just like you and me except that they are much stronger, much meaner, more violent, and much more terrifying. Also they have fangs and absolutely no limits.
I read the article, unfortunately (though I won't link to it, either). Chimps are horrifying!
