Of Montreal's Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer? is my favorite album this year, so far, and frankly it's going to be tough to beat, I think.
Best track, for me: "Bunny Ain't No Kind of Rider", particularly in the "Eva, I'm sorry / But you will never have me..." bit of the chorus, the second time around, when the guitar kicks in: then, "I need a lover with soul power / and you ain't got no soul power", & it's so fantastic that I can't help but smile.
This album is amazing! Here are some lines I like from "The Past is a Grotesque Animal":
"I've explored you with the detachmentof an analystbut most nightswe've raided the same kingdomsand none of our secrets are physicalnone of our secrets are physical now"

On second listening, I'm kind of hearing classic Wire. Or is it Eno? Or am I just hallucinating?

Yeah, I can hear Wire. In particular for me it's got that heavy bassline thing that sounds like classic Wire, PiL, etc.
