The Dream: "Yamaha, Nikki pt. 2, Abyss"

For me, less immediately immediate than the top and bottom of Love King ("Love King", "Florida University"), but! The middle Trilogy of "Yamaha", "Nikki pt. 2", and "Abyss" may now be my favorite 3-song sequence of 2010.

Pumpkin Pancakes

I made these today because I had some left-over pumpkin from the Swiss Pumpkin I made the other night. But I originally made them to use up that annoying bit of canned pumpkin puree that's always left over when you make pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving.

I didn't have any leftover pumpkin to start, but I bought some canned pumpkin puree just to make these pancakes this morning. Well worth it! They're delicious.

Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. feat. Boy George: "Somebody To Love Me" (live)

I like Mark Ronson's Record Collection, but I love "Somebody to Love Me", featuring Boy George; it's probably one of my favorite songs of the year.

Def Leppard: "Women" (live)

Hysteria was the first album I ever bought, and I still love it. And a live performance of "Women"? Yes.
